Sometimes it really appears amusing that one can claim that one hates smoke from cigarrettes and would not like to be near people that smoke, and yet enjoys clubbing or visiting places that is full of people that indulge in the activity. Such is the contradiction of humans. One would often be confused by the idiosyncracies of people. Such starking contrast in opinions in such minute length of time. Like when a girl can say that she is easy on food, but vetos suggestions of eating at different places or different types of food. Like when a guy claims he does not like girls to be too possessive, but immediately changes his views when his partner goes out with another guy.

People should take some time away from the rigours of life, the struggle of the race to the top, the vicious production line of life, then start to enjoy the beauty in life. Star gaze or even feel the breeze. Decide once in a lifetime what one truly beckons in life. It is not a problem to live in a fantasy but do not indulge, lest one compromises truth.

Fate…
This is one word that leaves me in awe every time I ponder about it. Millions in this world could have met and come together if only fate allowed. With every step I take towards ‘you’, I wonder if ‘you’, at the other end, are taking the same number of steps towards me…or are ‘you’ changing directions…that we shall then never meet?
Or have ‘you’ always been within my reach, just that our eyes never met…?

Fate can be elusive, that my destiny with ‘you’ will be excluded… It may be endearing, when my destiny includes ‘you’.

Have you ever wondered why there are millions in this world, yet the people who will be close to your heart are just the selected few? Fate brings people together, that on one’s life journey, the other is taking the exact same route towards your direction… and then they meet.
Yet, when 2 people come together when it is not meant to be… they part.
I call this Fateless…
Or Fate’s joke…
…I don’t know.

And what if two people meet and come together… yet at the wrong place and time…
Will Fate leave it as it is? Or create the path to meet again… when the time is right?
Is this yet another joke Fate will play on them?

When you bump into a friend along the streets, or in the train, don’t just laugh it off… appreciate that it was by Fate which made your paths crossed and your eyes met.
Two people can be at the exact same place at the same time, yet Fate may have it that they will just brush each other by without realizing… and will never realize it…
Just like if I step out of the train cabin door while you step in right after me… we won’t get to see each other. If only I had step out of the train a few seconds later, or if only you had stepped in earlier…

And sometimes, when fate passes us by too often… do we still hang on and wish for something or someone to arrive finally? Or do our hearts grow weary… numb… and cold?
Maybe it will all be in vain. Maybe what has passed can never be regained.

And maybe learn to appreciate that on life’s journey your path had crossed with the ones you love, the ones who love you and those you’ve loved and lost…

A quote that is meaningful.
